Awful mail carrier
We have received nothing but poor service and disrespect from our mail carrier. She is blatantly rude and will tell you she was just with someone with covid and yet, out delivering our mail the next day. We were out front loading a trailer and told her sorry it was blocking the mailbox and she still got out of her truck and put a note on a brand new truck with a huge piece of packing tape! We are done dealing with such a miserable person who can't even be nice.

About a month ago, we stopped getting the same mail courier and now it's a new person everyday, and the mail has been consistently incorrect since - the other couriers just shove the entire building's mail in one box, to assume our business should distribute to the rest of the building. Take a look at the suite number and send back the other courier. He still comes about once a week and it's the only time the mail is correct. Maybe tell your courier's if there isn't a suite number on the mail, they should return to sender for lack of complete information. Super frustrating.

I’m so dissatisfied and disappointed in South Jordan USPS. NO ONE ANSWERS THE LOCAL PHONE!!! Don’t even bother and wast your time calling. I have so many mis handled packages, that typically Amazon or another eats the cost because of the delivery incompetence. I have had outgoing mail sit in my box for 3 days without pickup!! WORST USPS LOCATION EVER! 5 THUMBS DOWN

There is a certain mail man who constantly mistreats packages. Such us cramming boxes into a mail box that shouldn't have fit with fragile stickers all over it. Dropping other fragile boxes. And shoving mail into the mail box so it damages mail. We have tried talking to him but he runs and ignores us.

Had a package I sent out to a customer for insufficient address returned to me. However address was correct and was resent back. After reading so many of the negative reviews, customers within this post office area should take this up with their post master general. There is a problem costing everyone $$$$ problems.

This post office has lost hundreds of dollars worth of mail for me in the last year. They mark things that as delivered that are not delivered, packages end up at neighbors homes. It's terrible. They are also unhelpful in trying to correct the problem.

I do know understand why we keep getting neighbors mail in our box. The big question is how much of our mail is going to someone else and they throw it away??? My husband always takes the time to go and deliver the mail we receive to the correct house. I am up to 4 houses away. Can the delivery person not take the time to look at what they are doing???

I live in the Daybreak area, and have been having a terrible time getting mail delivered. I usually get ALL the mail for my area shoved into my mailbox, and spend the evening going around the neighborhood dropping off peoples mail. Problem also is that apparently, sometimes all the mail gets put in someone elses box, and it never gets distributed. Honestly, why should we all have to do the mail carriers job? I can't believe it's that hard to put the mail in the box it belongs to? Isnt that what they are employed (and paid) to do?

The mailwoman assigned to our house has been very careless with our packages. She refuses to take our packages to the door and chooses to shove them into the mailbox. Especially for clothing items. I have had multiple packages damaged because of this.

I have a very important package that is being delivered to the wrong address. I have been trying for 3 days for someone at the South Jordan location to ANSWER THE PHONE. I've called the USPS customer service line and they just tel me I have to call the post office but that does me absolutely NO good because NO one will answer the phone. So now, my package that I need for work on Monday will be lost. I know times are hard and busy but the phone being answered is kinda important. Ive also faxed them but no response.

Can I even get my mail?!
Took me 6 days just to get someone at the post office to answer the phone. They showed a package delivered - to my lock and key box - that no one else has access to. I was told that the woman delivering was probably just not paying close enough attention to what road she was delivering for because they sound similar to each other in my neighborhood.... Clearly by the comments I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. Sorry, but if you can't figure out how to pay attention to where you're putting someone's mail - then maybe postal delivery service isn't the best career choice. I've lived in many locations in many different states and never experienced this before. Seems like blatant laziness to me.

Several of my packages have been marked and delivered but I still don't have them. I've filed missing package reports several times but it does nothing. No one picks up when I call the office. They said that the lady on my route was reassigned but I still saw her delivering the mail. IF YOUR DELIVERY PEOPLE CANT DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN A 2 & 3 THEY SHOULDN'T DELIVER MAIL. Just so bad at your jobs. Specifically the South Jordan office.

I put a hold on my mail and they did NOT deliver it ALL the day I asked them to start up again. Have called 7 times now and it rings..... rings..... rings..... They DO NOT answer phone!!!!!! Very very very poor customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally got thru on the 9th call. I told them that my vacation hold mail was NOT delivered today as I had asked. Their excuse was...... a sub was on the route today and forgot to pick it up at the post office. They used the sub excuse when I have called 5 times in the past 2 years complaining that our neighbors always get one another’s mail.

PHONE RINGS AND RINGS. I'VE CALLED A FEW TIMES OVER THE YEARS AND NEVER HAD AN ANSWER. I WAS EXPECTING MY MEDICATION AND PHONED THE COMPANY THAT SHIPS IT. THEY SAID USPS LEFT ME A NOTICE TO COME PICK IT UP! RIGHT! THE WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS.... I DID NOT GET A NOTICE OR THEY DELIVERED IT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS WHICH HAPPENS ALL THE TIME HERE. Why have a phone if you walk in and put all the lines on hold? You can't call the local number ever, it's always busy. The other problem is stopping my mail forwarding, I came in in person, I filed it on line with USPS.com and you still keep forwarding it and I've been home over 2 weeks. STOP FORWARDING MY MAIL!!!

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the South Jordan USPS. They lost my package (and marked the package as DELIVERED to my lock-and-key mailbox), and I've been trying to call and get ahold of someone at the South Jordan office to try to get this figured out for the past FIVE DAYS and it rings and rings and then goes to voicemail every single time. So unprofessional! Why even have a phone number if you're not going to use it, and why ease my mind with these lock-and-key mailboxes when the incompetent mail carrier can't even deliver the right package to the right mailbox?

I just want to give some credit to your employee, Josh. We have had to go pick up mail to our new house for the last three weeks until the cluster mailboxes were installed. Josh has made my experience very pleasant. He is knowledeable, caring and very friendly! I wish all postal employees were like Josh! I used to avoid the post office at all costs.
